Welcome to the community!
This is the place to talk about your writing, lack of writing, desire to be writing, or anything to do with your writing and life that you don't want to talk about in your own LJ (or writing LJ), and would like to share with a group of familiar, in-the-same-boat people.
Posts are automatically locked for community eyes only, so don't worry about the general public stumbling across your talk of the Plotbunny That Ate Your Soul (but that you wouldn't give up for the world). This is a private space for friends to talk shop.
That being said, please keep the following in mind:
- Because some of phoenix_quills's members have not met due to graduation or admission dates, it would be very kind of you all to make posts introducing yourselves, or to introduce yourself in some fashion when you make your first writing post.
- If you post a story or story segment to the community, please put it behind an LJ cut.
- Some members of the group are leery of fanfiction. In order to respect peoples' rights to both post and feel safe here, fanfiction story posts should be marked as such in their LJ cuts.
- We're all adults here, and we've long since learned manners. Please be respectful of the other community members. (I don't think this will be a problem, but it should probably still be said.)
- ETA3: Please tag your posts with the name you prefer to be called--that way, if you change your LJ name or post under various LJs, who you are is still clear. Also, if there is a tag you think should be added to the list, please feel free to do so yourself--both mods and members can create tags.
