Yay suckyness
Hehe, I have an LR3: Leaky Rover x3.
That's right, my Discovery has three separate systems that are leaking fluids very slowly.
1: Transmission cooler leaks transmission fluid.
2: Water pump leaks coolant
3: Various oil leaks throughout the motor.
Oh well, that's what they make mechanics for isn't it? Kinda sucks though because Wednesday I'm taking the Vette to get new rubber. $800. Oh and that's for cheaper Toyos so next time you spend $350 on tires, be happy. Which also brings me the the fact that the Discovery needs tires too. Hmmm. Fortunately tires for it are around the $400 mark for a whole set.
On the bright side, I discovered how awesome the Discovery was at driving off road. Let's put it this way, wet grass might as well be pavement.
(If you didn't get the lame LR3 joke, the LR3s are the newest model of the Discovery. Mine is actually called a Series 1.)
