First week
Okaaaay - first full week of summer break. It feels like it's been longer than a few days, but we'll hit our stride. The last week of school was so nuts. Everyone kept getting out half day, and Bri kept having to bring in special things for a picnic, and a stuffed animal and movie day.
Wow, the stuff that comes home at the end of school. You get missing hoodies, water bottles, lunch bags, gloves, and SO MUCH paper and broken school supplies. We should definitely start having a bonfire to commemorate the end of school. It's a ton of ratty notebooks and an ocean of old papers washing into the house.
Dylan has a college class in the evenings, Bri has a bunch of summer camps & swim classes, and Tara has sitting around being a mushroom until mid-July and an acting camp. I have LOTS of driving everyone everywhere. We will survive. I just need soothing mantras to repeat . . . "Other people's drama is not my trauma." Oooohhhhmmmmmmm
