Another Work Week is Drawing to a Close
This week really kicked my ass. Part of the reason is probably because I didn't work my normal shifts this week, and those changes throw me off. Then there was the bitch with a bullhorn, nails down a chalkboard voice Friday night who declared that it was her right to be as loud as she wanted and keep the whole complex awake. But those examples only spanned a few days.
The days dragged on, my back decided it wanted to rebel on me while I was at my work station, the days dragged on, my work load was insanely light, and did I mention the days dragged on. I swear, eight hours felt like fifteen.
So here I am, theoretically about twenty minutes away from leaving work and starting my during the week weekend, but deep down knowing that I'll probably be here for at least another half hour because the overnight guy doesn't know how to get to work on time. I foresee sleep in my immediate future; blissful sleep. I need it.
