I don't want to do that again. Ever, if possible.
It was a long ass weekend, and not in a good way. Due to one person at work having to leave two hours early on Saturday and two of our weekend part timers deciding they were taking this weekend off at the same time, I had to work a hell of a lot longer than I wanted to; ten hours on Saturday (12pm to 10pm) and twelve hours on Sunday (2pm to 2am). And of course, the overnight guy was late on Sunday night/Monday morning.
Since I'm salary I don't get overtime. I'm supposed to be getting a comp day in the next week or so, though. But still; a twelve hour day with a twelve hour turnaround going into my next shift is murder! I'm not a kid in my twenties anymore, people, it's not that easy for me to pull shifts like that anymore!
I need a nap. Or a steady IV drip of caffeine.
