According to Webster's definition a "friend" is:
Main Entry: friend
Pronunciation: \'frend\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English frend, from Old English freond; akin to Old High German friunt friend, Old English freon to love, freo free
Date: before 12th century
1 a: one attached to another by affection or esteem b: acquaintance
2 a: one that is not hostile b: one that is of the same nation, party, or group
3: one that favors or promotes something (as a charity)
4: a favored companion
For me a "friend" is someone who is there for you not matter what. A friend will never betray you or go behind your back talking smack you. A friend will tell you if there's something you did wrong not just tell everyone else EXCEPT for you. A friend is someone who you can talk to about anything with and know you will not be hated for how you feel and they can do the same with you.
So are you willing to be my friend? If not don't bother even asking me to friend (or re-friend) you.
