[Very soon after hearing Tom Riddle's voice over the communicator, Harry quickly goes into the kitchen to wait for the other members of the apartment and begins to pace back and forth. He's built with too much anxious energy now and can barely stand still. First there are a series of murders and then a known murderer arrives at World's End. This couldn't be a good sign. The only thing that would seperate the murders from Riddle is that they were all obvious done by hand, much too messy to be Riddle's work. Still, the current series of events were not looking good for the people residing at World's End.]

[Hermione closes the communicator, looking around the room for a moment, trying to decipher Harry's frantic call. Nothing made any sense though, so she pocketed the device and grabbed her wand, leaving the room and heading down the hallway toward the kitchen. She enters to see Harry pacing back and forth anxiously, eyes bright and a painfully nervous look on his face. It kicked her own adrenaline up a notch, and she shifted from leg to leg near the kitchen, her wand hand gripping the the wand like she needed the comfort.]

What's wrong Harry?

[Harry had apparently wanted them all together and sober, which couldn't mean good things. While Ron had been among the ones to speak to Riddle, he'd never gotten a name out of him and had only confirmed that the other person was, indeed, another wizard. Since he sees that as a cause to celebrate - more people from home couldn't really be a bad thing, after all - he has no idea that Harry seems to take this wizard's presence as a bad sign. So it's with a fair case of obliviousness that he enters the kitchen, trailing after Hermione just in time to hear her ask her question. There's nothing else to ask for the moment, so he looks to Harry for explanation, crossing his arms over his chest as he stands besides Hermione.]

[Even as his two friends entered the kitchen, Harry continues to pace back and forth. He passes a hand through his hair nervously and mutters something under his breath. After a moment he turns to the two of them. Draco would come in when he did, or Harry will just relay the message to him later. He needs to put thsi information right out in the open.]

Guys... Things just got worse here.

[He flattens his mouth into a line and his hands fidget at his sides with nervous energy. Finally he balls them into fists before continuing.]

Tom Riddle is here at World's End.

[Harry's still pacing like a manman, and she's starting to get a lot more concerned. When Ron enters she doesn't spare him a smile; instead her look is all nerves and confusion. His presence comforts her though, and she's about to open her mouth when Harry speaks. Worse? How could things get worse? Well, there were probably a lot of ways it could get worse but what could possibly--

It takes her a moment to process his words. For once the right words don't spring up; she's left with complete confusion and no comprehension.]

What? Tom Riddle? You can't mean... Harry... but... you mean Voldemort?

[The words finally leak from her lips, and suddenly the panic Harry was emanating is nearly contagious. Her heart speeds up, and she looks shifts again, moving to cross her arms tightly over chest, gripping the wand even more firmly.]

You saw him?

[Ron awaits Harry's proclamation with bated breath, though he's not quite ready for what he hears. What? Voldemort? That just wasn't possible.

Even though the name crosses his mind, he still flinches a bit when Hermione says it. If it's true, if Voldemort is here, then maybe the Taboo's been reinstated, too. But after a few moments pass without any Snatchers coming by to pick them up, he takes a deep breath. He's still far from relaxed, though.]

You're calling him Riddle? How come? Is it... the Taboo, d'you think it still.... Bloody hell, Harry, what are you talking about?

[action log] Hurp derp, fashionably late once again. Sorry, guys!

[It's at that precise moment that the front door can be heard opening and closing with a slam. Draco appears in the doorway to the kitchen scant seconds later, and judging by his expression, he's none too pleased about being ordered around to attend yet another one of these sodding "house meetings". As far as he's concerned, they're a waste of time, seeing as they usually devolve into some sort of argument.

He pauses slightly upon seeing the somewhat panicked expressions on the three Gryffindors' faces. Draco merely raises a brow in response, his own expression remaining politely bored.]

Oh, do go on, Potter. I'd prefer to get this little speech of yours over with as quickly as possible.

[As he speaks, Draco removes his cloak and slings it over the back of a chair, having to brush past Weasley and Granger in order to do so. While the idea is tempting, he doesn't make any attempt to shoulder the redhead as he passes, figuring that it probably isn't best to provoke him so early in the meeting.]

[Harry does look up to glare at Draco as he comes in. Despite Draco being his boyfriend now, he really isn't in the mood for his attitude. Harry leans against the counter and watches him sit down for a moment.]

You're late. You just missed me saying that someone by the name of Tom Riddle is in World's End now. That's all, hope it didn't inconvenience you.

[He knew he is be a bit of a jerk, but he's so worked up right now that Harry just reverted back he treated Draco before. He'll apologize for it later in private. For now he turns back to Ron's question.]

I don't think the taboo exists here. I said Voldemort's name plenty of times in the past year and Death Eaters have never come to catch me. And... I didn't see him, but I heard him over the communicators just now, when you were all making "nice" with him. I could never mistake that voice that I've heard when in Dumbledore's memories and have heard plenty of times in my dreams.

[He pauses just long enoughto pass a hand through his hair.]I don't know what this means for us... but

[The slam makes her jump, and then in stamps Malfoy, looking none too pleased to have arrived. Her nerves are jangled, and after he brushes past, she moves closer to Ron without meaning to, arms still wrapped tightly around her chest. Her mind is roving faster than it has in a very long time, both in confusion, and struggling to fight off the sheer panic.]

You mean we spoke to him? He never introduced himself as that Harry - obviously we would have known.

[She frowns in confusion at the mention of this Taboo-- both Ron and Harry seem to know about it; which, frankly, makes no sense that she doesn't.]

What's this Taboo you're talking about? I've never heard of that before.

Wait a second - does he know who you are Harry?

[action log] Let's see how long it takes before this turns into a fight.

[Ron instinctively turns when he hears the door slam, as though expecting Voldemort himself to stroll in. When he sees that it's only Malfoy, though, he doesn't feel a whole lot better, quickly looking away in the vain hope that not looking at him will make it easier to resist the urge to mindlessly beat on him. He wants to make a snide comment about how happy Malfoy must be now that he's got his bloody precious Dark Lord around, but Ron knows that that would probably get more than one wand aimed at him.

He grimaces when Malfoy passes by him, looking to Harry as though saying, "See, I can be civil if I need to be." Of course, he sort of negates that by the way he unconsciously puts an arm around Hermione's shoulders as though the blond's presence poses some kind of direct threat to her. Still making every effort to avoid Malfoy's gaze, he looks down to Hermione as he answers her.]While I was gone, you know, after I left you all, I found out that he'd placed a jinx on his name. Saying it would break any kind of protective enchantments

[action log] It apparently will take a while because Draco's mun is fail personified.

[Draco is initially distracted by having to send Weasley his customary sneer, pausing only in doing so to glance in Granger's direction. His expression is significantly more neutral as he regards her, though it reverts to one of disgust as soon as his gaze returns to Weasley. Granted, it's rather hard not to smirk as he sees the altogether unnecessary way the redhead is holding onto Granger, as if he's attempting to shield her

[In all honesty, Harry didn't even notice that Draco rudely brushed past Ron and Hermione or that Ron managed to remain civil during the whole exchange. If he did, he might've reacted to it, but he is too busy staring at a spot somewhere in front of him, lost in thought.

Tom Riddle only knows that Harry knows who he is. He does't know about Ron, Hermione, or Draco, despite talking to them. They should be safe, for the time being. Harry would just have to make sure that it stays that way.]

He doesn't know who I am. But he knows I know who he is. You three... don't talk to him. Don't approach him. Don't antagonize him in any way. You three are safe.

In the meantime... I'll figure something out. We just had a seriel murderer running around World's End. I think the first thing I should do is talk to the new Task Force leader... I think that's Matt. Tell him about Riddle, let him decide what to do about it.

[Harry frowns and passes a hand through his hair. Usually, Harry knows exactly what he needs to do, or can figure it out

[Malfoy's jerky motion towards his left arm doesn't escape Ron's notice, though he forces himself to look away quickly enough. The Dark Mark. Of course. He had nearly forgotten that Malfoy had literally taken up the Dark Mark and now had it emblazoned on his forearm. Ron couldn't help wonder once again how Harry could stand to be near someone with that kind of stain on his flesh, let alone be involved in a rela
