[The feed clicks on to show Harry holding a small brindle pup, which he is clutching close to his body on the couch. Harry strokes the pups fur, trying to sooth away its shivers and whimpers.]
Shh, Jude... it'll be ok. Th-This cold can't stay around forever
[The pup Jude replies with a whimper. Harry holds him closer and looks around the room.]

His usual drawl isn't nearly as arrogant as it usual is, mostly due to his teeth chattering. It doesn't seem like the blankets are doing much.]
I s-still can't believe you n-named him t-t-that, of all t-things.

J-Jude is a good name, Draco.
[He remembers what Aaron said about staying awake by singing and playing games, so he ruffled Jude's fur and started.]
Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take your sad song and make it better...

H-has the c-cold driven you m-mad, then?
Reply
No. It's the name of a M-Muggle song by a band called the Beatles. I didn't think you'd understand... b-but Jude's a good name!
[Jude snuggles into Harry's chest again with a whimper. Harry ruffles his fur again.]
Jude's actually really warm... B-But I think he's scared. C-Come here if you're cold, the h-heating charm is warmest near the wand.

Give me o-one good r-reason why I s-should.

Because you're c-cold.

I am n-not.
[He is, however, quite stubborn.]

Why d-do you have to be l-like this? You obviously are. It's f-freezing, Draco, so just come over here.

As he does so, one of the blankets draped over himself catches the communicator, knocking it off of the low table. Draco ends up kicking it. He can be heard swearing loudly just before the feed goes dead.]
Why the b-bloody hell was that t-thing on?
[He casts a dark look at the device as he sits down - on the other end of the couch, as far away as he can be from Potter. Even beneath the many blankets, his shoulders are visibly tense.]

[Harry levitates the communicator over to himself and shuts the feed off, then sets it down on the coffee table. He casts an unsure look over to Draco, who also seems very tense. No doubt he was thinking about what happened the other night. Still the blond wasn't even near enough and he was still shivering.]
Maybe you should get a little closer.
[Jude looks over at Draco with curious brown eyes.]

He shifts his glare to Potter, refusing to move. His lip curls somewhat; by now, it's very obvious that he's thinking of what happened several nights ago.]
Or maybe I should s-stay right where I am, and you can k-k-keep your hands to y-yourself.

W-Was n-not. I-I was just trying t-to offer s-some help.
[Whether he was stuttering because the cold or because of his nerves was not clear. Jude looked amused.]
Reply
A-as I recall, t-that was what you intended to do l-last time, Potter.
Reply
Fine, whatever. Freeze then.
[Jude whimpered at Draco as if asking the same thing.]

[Crossing his arms, Draco leans back against the couch, intending to do exactly that. However, barely a minute passes before the chattering of his teeth becomes audible, breaking the tension that had settled between them. He draws his blankets tightly around him, but for all the good they're doing, they may as well be made of paper.]

G-Get over here, you stubborn g-git.
