In case anyone has forgotten the most fundamental freedom written into our Constitution:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
No exception is made for "unless it distrubs someone." The Supreme Court has made exceptions for public safety but has otherwise recognized the sanctity of this most fundamental of human rights. Maybe police officers should be required to learn this--and the other nine amendments in the Bill of Rights--before they're allowed to carry a badge.
