At the end of October I decided to start a new blog. Not to abandon this one, but since my posts here are nearly always friends only and about "real life", I wanted to keep my geek musing related posts all in one place. I also figure that one will be a good place to discuss my comic whenever I can get a more solid hold on that. If I ever get a more solid hold on that...

My basic goal with the blog is that while there are other "geek girls" out there, I find a lot of them are skirting the militant feminist line a little too closely. I aim to not do that, seeing as how skimpy outfits on superheroes or how many lines Uhura actually speaks in a Star Trek movie don't really piss me off half as much as they seem to some of these other girls out there. I'd much rather prove that gender is just not an issue when it comes to this kind of stuff, and us girls love it just as much as boys do.
