For those of you who don't already know, Linda Sorrell (sp?) has convinced the owner of the cemetery that Jamez Norwood is buried at to let us anonymously donate a headstone. The owner said that this will protect us from any legal ramifications by the family and if someone does throw a fit, he will deal with it.It will cost us $1000 and we're hoping to get it done by Christmas.I know that's a lot of money in not a lot of time but none of us should have to spend 15 mins digging through the leaves and grass to find the sacred spot of our friends' burial. Everyone's input is welcome for what to put on the marker. Maybe during Thanksgiving we could all get together and decide. Until then, start savin. Opt out of that latte before class and put it towards the Jamez fund... it's been too long guys. Linda, Michelle, and I are all accepting money at the moment. Anyone who was not a close friend who donates I am getting their address to send a thank you card. If you want, you can take addresses too and I will do all the mailing.
