Ok, so I guess it's been awhile since I've really posted anything of substance on here, (I'm fuckin lazy okay!) and I've been meaning to comment of a few fun things that have been goin down so here they are.
First off,
dog_z's band has been doin' awesome lately. He's finally playing the clubs and events he's wanted to for years with a band that is his own. Finally playing on his stage under his own banner. I couldn't help but feel proud on Cinco De Mayo at Wise Fool's Pub as I watched with the other 2 homosexuals (Thank you Billy and Omar for making it) in the bar stood by me and watched in astonishment as the bar kept filling in with people coming to see a man that rocked, clearly in his element.
Awesome show. Awesome night!
Weekend was just getting started then, the next night Beaz and I met (in person for the first time) fellow LJers
inqueery and
cheerfulchaotic at Hydrate the next night and danced the night away to the sounds of David Knapp (LOVE him!). Shortly after the 2 boys left, 2 more boys joined us that had seen Beazley the night before. Billy and Omar showed up and we danced happily ever after.
A good weekend lead into a great week. I got in touch Aaron (one of my best friends from Detroit) who just got back from England with his fiance, and we've started putting plans together for our visit to P-Town.
Just been great really.
I've been working out pretty hard trying to get ready for Madonna, summer and P-town now and i'm a little flustered by it all. I'm taking suppliments and gaining weigt and while thats a "good thing" it's also a strange thing to see my weight over 160lbs again. It's kinda freaky as I was once over weight and even though this can be considered good healthy weight, I'm thinking I'm gonna need to just back off on wieghts and go back to cardio over-load.
We'll see I guess. Beazley says this is the best my chest has looked since he met me.
Other than that I'm just looking forward to the next issue release for CoX (city of heroes/villians not cocks. Get your mind outta the gutter). Drama is down and the fun is up! New costume options and powers for my online gaming characters!
