Discovered freegameempire.com and the fact that many/most are ported to android on there. Civilization, Populous, Master of Orion, Dune, Ultima IV...which will I play first?

Yeah, some not free, and some not on android...but overall im sooo digging it.

Yes, Ultima IV is enshrined in a special place. I have the collectors set, and have played it a couple times since, but it's not the same without the map and ankh and all.

Infocom games are another ultimate addiction still. They're all available online now from various places.

I was expecting you to note Leather Goddesses of Phobos...but maybe that's just me. 8-)

Personally it was the Enchanter series, Zork series, Planetfall, and Hitchiker's Guide. Suspense and Deadfall were also pretty awesome.

It really had a lot of stumpers...more than any other game I tried. I think it's because the designers knew that anyone who read the book (which should be everyone) could navigate the overall story perfectly, so the difficulty had to come by way of narrow phrasing.
