I'm not dead yet... I think I'll recover...
In case you were worried, I'm still here. More or less.
Lets see... so, recent events-
I've gone to work... and then worked some more. Oh, and I went to work, too.
Work is alright... though some days it takes me quite a bit of effort not to attack certain people who I work with *cough GIANFRANCO AND THOMAS cough*. Other day I was at work, I had gotten 4 or 5 hours of sleep, and the two of them were on my case for most of the day. While they did nothing. I really don't get paid enough to put up with that kind of bullshit. Oh, and then the next day when I was cleaning up the aisle that they were supposed to have been cleaning, I discovered a tube of 3M sealant that had been stepped on then squirted all over the shelf, and 5 tubes of caulk that someone had stabbed with a knife. Now, here's the evidence... point 1: the aisle with the damaged merchandise was the aisle that gianfranco and thomas were assigned to work on. Nick had 1-3, I had 7-9, and the two of them had those in between. This was in aisle 5. Point 2: Ryan has seen Gianfranco randomly stab merchandise before, usually things which come in boxes. Point 3: there were at least 6 half-consumed bottles in the aisle. The only people who do that are Gianfranco and Thomas. And finally, point 4: Gianfranco and Thomas were in or around that aisle till the store closed, so no customer would have done that with store employees that close by. So me and another guy pointed all this out to one of the managers, but I'm not sure what's going to happen with that.
Good news on the work front though... Gianfranco got stripped of his manager status for exploiting an error in the system and buying Sirius satellite radio tuners for 1 cent. He almost got another kid fired, who he had convinced it was fine to buy the things, because "that's the price that the computer lists", but he didn't get fired, so its all good. this probably won't happen, but I'd like to see Gianfranco get fired so much... it would probably be one of the most entertaining things possible to see at work.
Anyway, so work sucked for a few days, then got better the past two. Today's my last day before we leave for vacation. Unfortunately the dynamic duo is working today, so we'll see how that goes...
Went to a renaissance fair last weekend, which was pretty fun. My sister got hit on by a sketchy older guy dressed as a pirate who worked at the corset booth. He told her to come back next year (when she's legal) and she could get the "date the owner and get free stuff" deal. He was rather amusing. I got a sword, and Ian and I managed to prevent Steve from getting anything sharp or blunt and heavy, so that was successful. Oh, and I got a sword. :D
And.... MARIAH'S COMING IN 8 DAYS!!!!! w00t!
