I began to read Bleach 440 and realised pretty quick that I was gonna need to write my thoughts as I went, so ... Here we go. My rambling thoughts while reading through the chapter... I've been doing this alot lately haven't I??
I hope it's something good. Poor girl has been through so much already, surely she can't sink any lower?? *chews at nails with concern* With Tsubaki ... I'm assuming she didn't use him against Tsukishima because, in all likelihood, she probably didn't think she'd be able to beat him. She wanted to "stop" him, but it didn't seem like she wanted to "attack" him ... But, I'd like to know why she didn't heal Ishida. Surely she wasn't just thinking "Oh, he'll be fine. He's at the hospital!" ... Mmm... It all just bodes badly. I mean, although we saw the fairies leap out, we didn't actually see the barrier manifest so it makes me wonder if the Shun Shun Rikka are alright...
Really? I don't know! The more the story progresses, the more it makes me fear we're not going to get any closure about what Orihime thought about the dome, or Ulquiorra, or anything like that. ... And at the same time, I'm firm in my opinion that can't be the end of Ulquiorra. I'm so confused XDD
You're right though, no matter what happens, things are definately getting interesting (And it was so good to see an Orihime with a backbone) I want the next chapter already so we find out what that cut really did to Orihime.
EXACTLY!!! Like I said, with Orihime he went all "Alright. Something's going on. I want to find answers >.>" But, if it had been Rukia ... Ichigo would've been all "ZOMGWTF?! You can't hide this from me! What happened?!?!? >CCC"
OMG, you're so right. We didn't get a single one - thankgod. I truly think I would have closed the window and gone back to it later if I'd seen her go Kurosaki-kun~ ... Blegh
D8 It's Orihime, anything is possible with her sinking lower haha. She needs a bigger reality check, IMO.
Maybe with Tsubaki, but I have a feeling she has not used him at all since the Yammy incident. Just....doesn't feel right, more so with her shield was, I mean she goes from thinking "I shouldn't use my shield because he'll take it as an attack." but she uses it to stop him? what.
And yeah, the healing is such a big sign! I mean, come on. I don't buy what people are saying why she didn't use it.
I can understand that. But the dome/HM was such a big thing with her development that it CAN'T be ignored. :fu Then again, I'm endless with hope, lmao
I think you're right Issues. I don't think she's used Tsubaki since Yammy crushed him ... Which is annoying because she was so happy at seeing him or fixed ... ... But is that for lack of opportunity, or because she's scared to see him smashed again? Hmmm... But, it was a strange choice - confuse a shield as an attack? Huh? What were you thinking Woman?? Ugh. I don't even... *sigh*
Oh no. There is no excuse for not Healing Ishida. Especially when he was in such pain. Errrrr! Get it together Orihime!
I want to think so too, I really, really do. I don't want the events of Huenco Mundo to be swept under a carpet and forgotten. I just ... No. Too much went on up there, and they seriously need to deal with the consequences of those things. *crosses fingers*
I think scared to fail again, and her hero complex with Ichigo just got worse. She has (well then) no self-esteem in her powers at all and being constantly told "lol no you can't." is probably why, and well we'll see soon if she has still not used him.
I don't understand how she thought shielding herself would be an attack, she was nervous and probably why her shield was too slow...though previously it always seemed fast, like catching Ichigo after Ulquiorra killed him and all. . *rubs chin*
I see so many people, especially ishhihime fans, say she didn't heal him because Ryuuken likes seeing him suffer...like what? It doesn't make sense at all, at least Kubo could show a scene to show that she was at least WILLING. gah
Don't worry, Kubo maybe slow and frustrating with his writing and pace but he usually delivers. And he will defiantly deliver on Orihime's character development, and Ulquiorra gaining a heart that is something I can't see Kubo leaving hanging. A hollow gaining a heart.
