Bleach 440
I began to read Bleach 440 and realised pretty quick that I was gonna need to write my thoughts as I went, so ... Here we go. My rambling thoughts while reading through the chapter... I've been doing this alot lately haven't I??
Just so you know - I'm typing this as I read the chapter so ... it's not gonna flow very well, haha. But, that might be better. You get the raw emotions as I read ... But, unless you've read the chapter, the rambling might not make sense....
Anyway, let's begin:
- First of all ... ffs. Oh, yay~ Ichigo to the rescue again *eyeroll* I swear, if I get ONE Kurosaki-kun, I'm going on a bleach strike >.>
- Good to see an Orihime with the intention to fight - Especially after the horror that was Orihime on the dome My hopes for an Ulqui return are really starting to dwindle though TT^TT and I'm getting a seriously creepy vibe off this Tsuki-guy. It's like ... Aizen, almost ... ... Errrrr.
- THE SHUN SHUN RIKKA LIIIIIIIIIVE! *happy dance*
- OHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK!!!! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUUUCKSICKLE!! My first thought was "Aw. The hair!" ... And then I realise ... ... ORIHIME HAS A GOD DAMN SWORD STICKING OUT OF HER CHEST! COME PROTECT YOUR WOMAN FOR CHRIST SAKE ULQUIORRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
- .... Eh? And now I'm just .... What? So, Hime's fine?? But ... God damn you Kubo. Don't startle/scare me like that!!
And then.... *groaaaaaaan* Back on comes the mask. Interesting that as soon as Ichigo shows up, Orihime's all bubbly/cloudy again... Hmm. You've gotta wonder at why she's being so fake around him, especially when you consider this is the guy she "likes" ... ... Imo, it's solidifying my opinion that IchiHime should not happen. If she can't even be herself around Ichigo ... ... then what chance is there for them as a couple??? At this rate, Sado-Hime is more likely in my books.
- Oh gods. I knew that Kubo was the king of fuckery, but Orihime confusing Tsuki-guy to be a friend?? Come on~ What the hell just happened? Orihime got stabbed, she revealed she's still got the Shun Shun Rikka, and was going to fight ... ... but now she's fine, and temporarily confusing Tsuki-guy to be a friend?? *ruffles hair* I think at times like this, it's easier when coming into Manga when there are a few chapters to catch on. At least then I wouldn't be sitting here going "WTF?!"
- Oh-kay. I can understand Orihime doesn't want to worry Ichigo (He has enough of a hero complex as it is) ... But, you're being really fake Orihime. At least convince him properly, especially if you want to protect him. Bah! That being said ... She's just been (spiritually?) stabbed, so I can understand why --- .... Oh snap. I just had a thought. What if she did get cut? What if ... What if she just lost the Shun Shun Rikka? What if that was what Tsuki-guy stabbed? Oh dear gods, don't let that be the case.
(Yes, my thoughts are whirling right now XD)
- Admittedly, Sado doesn't do much better convincing Ichigo that it's nothing to worry about, and he can understand Orihime's thoughts perfectly ... It's obvious that Ichigo doesn't believe him though. Look at those "Yeah right" eyes. While I'm on the anti-IchiHime train ... I'm taking a moment to point out - now, if that were Rukia ... Ichigo would be all "Like hell! What the hell just happened?!"
- Ah- See? Ichigo doesn't believe them and goes for answers. At least that means he realises Orihime was just in danger then ... ... As much as I adore Ichigo for his inability to back down, he has to understand he can't fight with his own Fullbring yet, right? And so, knowing that there's someone out there putting his friends in danger will push him down one of two paths: He's either gonna take on an enemy he can't defeat probably get saved by Rukia or Renji in the process, or he's going to dive headfirst into trying to master his new weapon, like he did with trying to reach Bankai.
Either way ... ... ... I have a feeling things are going to get interesting, frustrating, and messy very soon.
- ... It's a little predictable that Grease-hair knows Tsuki-whatsit, and that Tsuki-whatsit was an old ally though. Even so, I'm glad to see Ichigo is being productive, instead of moping around like he did after getting his arse handed to him by Ulquiorra and Yammy...
I'm seriously worried about Orihime though. What was stabbed? Was that an illusion?? - I highly doubt it. Did Tsuki-whatsit just steal her Fullbring power?? Is Orihime as powerless as everyone's thought her to be now?? Please be alright Orihime TT^TT You were just starting to be the woman we all know you can be.

... ... Alright, you're trying to protect him. We get that. And it's really admirable that you are ... But I cannot, just cannot see Orihime getting with Ichigo. No matter how I try to look at it. The very thought makes me squirm with irritation. She can't be herself around him. She went from "Hells yeah! That's what I'm talking about!"-Hime, to "Ahahaha! Everything's fine!"-Hime the second Ichigo comes back onto the scene. Maybe that was the point? To highlight how wrong they are for one another?
Oh sure, there are people out there who'll turn Ichigo going to Grease-hair for answers into an "omg! He cares for her, see???!?!" ... And I'll concede to that. He cares for her as a friend. As I pointed out ... If it had of been Rukia in that situation, do you honestly think he'd walk away? No bloody way. He'd be demanding to know what's wrong and wouldn't be leaving until she 'fessed up. Of course, if something was happening and Rukia was in Orihime's position ... She'd tell Ichigo what was wrong. As much as it's admirable of Orihime and Sado to try and protect Ichigo ... ... I just feel that Rukia would have told him because she would have understood his need to get stronger and familiar with his new weapon so he can fight against the new enemy....
Uhm. Yeah. End of Bleach rant? ^^;
This chapter seriously got my thoughts in a tangle, can you tell? I even stopped playing Black - momentarily - to write this whilst reading the chapter XD
