Adventures in the Rain
It turns out, having to take a rain check doesn't neccessarily have to suck. If you have a wellness area with sauna and pool handy, that is. Just got back from a very relaxing round of sauna and swimming with my mom, that included a weird encounter with an older dude. Keep in mind this is a sauna in a German speaking country, so everyone runs around naked. I'm sitting in the steam sauna by myself, very relaxed, when all of a sudden, I notice this old guy standing at the door staring at me. Like really, standing there a long time, unmoving and just staring. Now, I'm definitely not very self-conscious about my body, but this is just weird. Like, be a little more subtle! So I'm sitting there, trying to come up with good things to say to that guy when I go out, but I just can't think of anything, and by the time I'm ready to leave the sauna he's gone. And when I step out of the sauna, I notice that it's got those one-way glasses. You know, you can see outside but not inside! You wouldn't believe how glad I was I couldn't think of a smart retort for creeper guy (who probably wasn't a creeper after all)!!!
