The strongest place association I can think of comes from "Comptine D'un Autre Ete: L'apres Midi." It's from the soundtrack of "Amelie."

I was washing dishes in my Berlin apartment one night; my computer was playing music in my room down the hall, set to randomize. Nathan had come to visit and David was elsewhere, so we were alone. It was raining.
We'd been quiet for some time. As this song started to play, Nathan got up from our dinky kitchen table and came up to hug me from behind. I let my hands--dish and sponge still in them--just rest against the edge of the sink, and we stood there like that for some time, motionless.
It's impossible for me to hear this song now without thinking of that dim kitchen and the sound of the rain.
