Star Wars!
I have decided to run a Star Wars game every other tuesday night (unless I can browbeat xarcoss and avrilis into being as obsessed with gaming as I am, just kidding!) Current thinking is the era between episodes III and IV. The Rebel Alliance will just have been formed and most of the galaxy will not have even heard that it exists. I'm still taking ideas for other eras if everyone really wants to play in another time. So, just because I'm impatient, what sort of group would you guys like to play? I know the universe well enough to run almost any type of group. There will be no jedi because of the time period, but that does not mean there cannot be force users. If the group changes the timeline I will allow that as well as long as it's plausible of course. So, character concepts, rules discussions, group ideas, this is the place to put them! Heh probably no one else is actually excited about this since it won't start for like a month anyway, but ah well. Since we always have to wait for McCoy to get back from work anyway, I may have everyone come over in two weeks and work on Star Wars characters while we wait on McCoy then finish my other game while everyone else can just hang out. Unless there is no real wish to finish the other game? That is up to the survivors.
For ikara_fox and koepke, we didn't actually game yesterday since so few showed. Just hung out with everyone. You guys are invited to the new game as well and if wayferny wants to come too that would be great!
Hmm so I think I might change my restriction on Jedi characters, I can come up with a reason for there to be jedi. The prophecy said that Anakin would bring balance to the force. He did that 2 sith and 2 jedi. It never said he would keep balance in the force. I can change the universe sufficiently to allow for jedi characters. Of course jedi would have the full wrath of the Empire against them, but that could be fun too.
