Rant
not having a great day, got up late at 9, after being awake between 5-7.30, hubby downstairs with babies.
Babies fed, and changed but not dressed, house is a state, i am feeling grotty and icky and tired again today, off babies go back to bed, decide to watch film with hubby, but need to eat first.
Hubby decides to play on laptop while I am asking him for help in the kitchen, he cooks I dont, cooking goes wrong, so now have given up and am just wiating for day to be over! Hubby gone upstairs in a huff, babies awake, me = really really not good today, back in my cant be arsed with anything mood alternating with tears. Frigging brill. Just want to get out the house for a break but as usual we are skint so that aint happening :-(
Days like this I think about selling off my stash and just giving up on everything.
Oh the other thing is that we are having to consider moving Ds1s school to one slightly closer. his school is a 40+ minute walk each way, which I jsut cant do, and if/when hubby gets a job I will have to do, seriously doing that with a newborn, 1yr old and 2 yr old? you can get the bus but it dont turn up always etc since the start of term he has been late 28 times ( i worked it our roughly last night that means he has only been on time for about a week this term!). Ben is supposed to be starting nursery there in January, which would mean taking Laine & ben to school in the morning, so leaving at 8.15am, getting home about 9.45, leaving again at 10.15 to go pick ben up at 11.15, getting home about 12ish, then having a couple of hours till have to go pick laine up so then leaving at 2.20 and getting home at 4pm. All this using crappy public transport that just doenst turn up sometimes and having a 1yr old & 6 month old. It just aint going to happen is it?
The real pisser is that the schools closer are only JUST closer, seriously it would mean a 20 minute walk or so each way, so is it worth the upheaval of moving his school (he has been there comng up 2 years and is 9 this week) for a school that is just a little closer? I just dunno what to do, we were talking about this over a year ago and we decided to put it on hold cuz we want to move, but over a year later we are still here, so yeah I think we just have to realise that we aint got a chance in hell of moving so something has to give. Question is waht?
