In the end the mammogram wasn't painful at all.  My aunt said it was like having your breasts in a sandwich toaster and she was definitely right, but it was barely even uncomfortable.  That, or I was just in the care of a particularly skilled person.  I'm slightly stressed about getting the results, but there's no real reason to think that anything is wrong.  I've also discovered that two of my aunts (one who had breast cancer, another whose daughter had it) have been tested for the gene and they don't have it.  So unlikely that I have it either.  Though I'm still not rushing out to be tested.

B is currently at his future secondary school.  Turns out he was only invited because he's probably down as home-schooled.  No one from his primary school was invited because four or five of them will be attending, but he's technically not registered anywhere.  He and M will be back at school tomorrow morning, though.  Good thing, because they're going stir crazy.

I took all three to the dentist this morning.  J was perfectly happy to open his mouth and let his teeth be counted.   The enamel on M's teeth isn't doing great and the dentist says that juice may be the culprit (I never buy juice but D has been buying it for the last couple of years).  The spot on one of B's back teeth has finally gotten to the point where the dentist considers it to be a cavity.  He's having that filled on Thursday morning.

I organized a grocery order for today but somehow managed to forget peanut butter.  And bread.  I guess I'm still in the mindset that I can walk to the shuk daily and just buy whatever we need.  Yesterday I walked a mile and a half each way for a small bunch of coriander.  I forgot how much I hate living in this house.
