Dear Journal,
I've started training in the Danger Room with the Professor. He set me up against a sentinel! I was shocked, but FireStorm was really eager, so I said, what the hey? Once I figured out how to get inside the big brute, I shut it down. It probably would have been easier if Kitty and I had been tag teaming.
Ethan's been a great friend, even though he tends to hit on me every now and then. It's funny. You'd think a guy without the ability to speak his mind would reflect on what he says with his hands. But I don't take offense. He's a great guy, and I bet he and Ty could get rather close. Besides, I already have a boyfriend whom I love and cherish deeply.
Oh, and speaking of said boyfriend, I had a dream the other day. Tim had been rubbing my back (My God his fingers are amazingly skilled!) and I had fallen asleep. I realized that I love him, and that soon, I'm going to marry him, and I'm going to be with him for the rest of my life. Felt good knowing that; although, I think I made him a little nervous. But, I merely charmed him with some of my fettucini alfredo, and all was well.
Anyway, classes are great, too. Shade's Creative Writing class is awesome, even though I missed half the first lesson. (Stupid John.) And the Professor's Lit class is going to be awesome, assuming we can ever get out of the textbook. That's the one type of writing I cannot read all the way through; I end up falling asleep every time. Good thing I don't have any interest in becoming something that requires textbook/manual reading all day. Dad's classes have yet to start, since we're still getting a theater built onto the Mansion. I can't wait to start, though. We could use a little drama/physical exertion outlets around the school.
Speaking of which, I could kick myself for letting Ty and Ethan skateboard down the stairs. Still, I don't think they got into too much trouble, though I have been wrong before.
You know, since letting FireStorm out, she's been really docile and complacent. Unfortunately, we're completely different, and I don't always agree with her idea of 'fun'. Last time, she and the Angel went out to the city and beat up on three jackasses that had accosted this poor girl. I think she ended up running home in relief. Still, FireStorm had wanted to kill them. She probably would have if the Angel hadn't been with her. I'm just concerned about what'll happen the next time I let her out.
Well, Tim's calling me, so I better go see what he wants.
Sincerely,
Phoebe/FireStorm
