W H A T  A R E  T H E S E  R O O T S?

[ The Master Manipulator ]
An Overview: Iron Man's teleporter gave Jonathan the innate ability to create a medium amount of microfilament wires that he can either use as weapons (ala Walter Dornez, of Hellsing fame) or attach to his victims’ central nervous system, enabling Jonathan to cause them to experience any level of pain or pleasure he so chooses. The microfilament wires also allow Jonathan to control his victim’s physical senses -- as the wires work by using electric impulses -- making them see, hear, or speak whatever/whenever he wants them to. He cannot control more than three people in this way, and he must be less than fifty feet away for the wires to take full effect; any distance further than this causes the wires to "slacken," which makes his power over that person weaken dramatically

What does this mean in laymen's terms?
- Unless you have super-strength or an alien physiology like Starfire, Jonathan is going to be able to make you punch yourself in the face or feel like you can't move, at the least.
- If you possess a mechanical body, and/or are cybernetic in any way, Jonathan is going to have a slightly difficult time controlling you, as, unlike Dietrich, his wires are more biological than mechanical, and don't interface as well with other forms of technology.
- Jonathan can use his wires to cut you beetches to death at close-range, since they're almost proportionately as strong as Walter Dornez's wires from Hellsing.

What are the wire's limitations?
- Aside from the weaknesses stated above, the wires only have a maximum range of one-hundred feet, and lose power the further you get away from the 50ft mark. The wires are also still physical objects despite their miniscule size, and cannot interact with intangible objects.
- The wires do not stay inside of you in any way, shape, or form; as they act more like a "cold" of sorts, the more someone is actively aware that Jonathan is "implanting" them within their body, the harder it is for him to do so. This isn't to say that it's impossible for it to happen -- I still ask people beforehand what is okay and what isn't okay to do to their characters -- just that it's harder.
- Though nearly indestructible, the wires can be removed or destroyed if they're in a person's body -- intense heat, a strong electromagnetic pulse, magic, or even other types of nano-technology are all viable ways to completely protecting onesself from Jonathan's power while he's around.

With all of that said, any questions?
