So it took a Chinese song to teach me what Shrove Tuesday is... keke.

Wiki says it's the term used in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Australia for Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday.  "Shrove is the past tense for "shrive" - which means to obtain absolution for one's sins by confessing and doing penance.  Shrove Tuesday gets its name for the shriving ( ( Read more... )

I tried to find info on Chen Song before I made this post. I googled and googled lol, even googled the text of the song in Chinese but nothing. I'll let you know if I ever find anything. I'll upload a few more songs for you real soon. (I'm at work now)
keke your icon makes me look forward to Mei-chan. Haven't started it yet because I actually started another currently-airing show *smacks head*. I started To Get Her, a Taiwan drama w/ Rainie, not my usual fare, but I'm enjoying it so far. It's funny to hear the Taiwan accent after being so used to listening to mainland singers recently. Used to be the other way around when I used to watch alot of Taiwan dramas.

I watched the 1st season of the j-version of BOF but I wasn't crazy enough over it to watch anything after. (though I'm already planning to give it another try after BOF is done) Meteor Garden was one of my first and fav shows so maybe that's why I wasn't all into the j-version. The Korean version is good AND bad. Really the soundtrack for the 15 or so episodes is so bad that it RUINs scenes. And the director seems to think we're pretty stupid at times. And everyone complains about at least one actor being terrible - the complaints vary among the cast. BUT it is still incredibly addicting and fun fluff to watch. The main guy is uber-awesome and redeems alot of the show's glaring faults. It's trying to your patience so if you don't have the urge to watch, save yourself and don't start lol!

HOpe this all makes sense as I'm typing way too fast! Later!
