What an awful someone; you probably shouldn't spend time with such a bad influence. ;D

Take care of yourself, squishie! *snuggles* Be careful of that foot and don't forget to do your excercises for it! Maybe the next step will be writing words with your toes and that has the potential for epic-squishie-foot-sign-language!hilarity when I visit.

So the meeting I was late to? Yea. Apparently since it was announced as "whoever is interested in the Core Curriculum" should attend. And no one is interested. Dean wasn't there quite on time. No one else was planning to attend. I asked Wenshu is she was coming and she started asking me "was there new information? what was the purpose?" and I said "the purpose was for the department to engage in a conversation about feasibility and strategy, but no--i don't have any new information". At which point she went on about how Dean called the meeting and it was job to make sure people knew what was going on, and she had a 1 p.m. meeting at UHALL, and if there was nothing new why have the meeting

First things first: *HUGS* I'm so sorry that you went out of you way to make it to this meeting when you're on crutches and it was incredibly inconvenient for you to do so (seriously, I would have just asked someone to email me notes about what happened if I'd been in your place because getting down those stairs and across campus with your foot in that condition? That's not easy and it shouldn't be taken for granted.) and not only did no one else make an effort to come, but your colleague and friend didn't acknowledge that effort in her hurry to allocate blame for non-attendance. That is just seriously crappy and selfish behavior however you slice it and you deserve so much
