A brief memory of my high school chemistry lab. The dark humor that can be chemistry.
So, my friend works at Luna as a chemist and says he can give me a good recommendation. Recently the company came to our campus recruiting people for interns. I'm assuming they didn't get anyone to show up (we only got the e-mail the day of, maybe a day before the event) so they out an e-mail telling everyone they were accepting resumes and stuff. So now I have an appointment with one of my professors to look over my resume and help me tweak it. I'm hoping that due to lack of competition I'll be able to get an internship, and that this'll help me in the future. Plus it's not like I'm doing much these days anyway.
The gig is basically as a part-time lab assistant where I'll crunch numbers and help people with minor errands and do silly little things. It starts immediately (which'll be good). I'm really hoping for this, because I'm not entirely sure how well things will go without it in my post-college career.
In other news, I'll be coming home for Thanksgiving break prolly Saturday or Sunday, anyone that's gonna be home that wants to hang out should gimme a call. I miss all my Windsor friends a lot, someone started a WHS marching band facebook group and I'm just really sad because I haven't seen most of them in sooooo long. There's only like 3 pictures up though, and none from my years in marching band, so now I need to find a photo scanner to thief so that I can upload some more stuff.
