tonights six feet under might have been the single greatest hour of television i have ever witnessed. This show just makes me think so much. I'd rather not get into more specifics though. But god what an amazing show.

The last few days have been pretty good. The concert at hofstra rent real well. Its strange, i don't particularly like the conductor, but i have so much damn respect for the guy. he's really quite brilliant, and i've actually been meaning to pick up his book. (it was published about 5 or 6 months ago). He always makes a similar speech before we play, never the same, but always about the same thing. And even though the music we play is very technical, and obviously entirely written out and scored, i can still relate it to the kind of music i love so much (improvisational). He talks about the importance of playing with emotion over playing correct notes. And he made the comment that he feels sorry for anyone who dwells on one missed note while missing the greater picture. This might seem fairly obvious, but he has a way of saying it that makes it unique, and just as impactful every time. And i don't even like the guy all that much.

After the concert i met up with natalie and paul at applebees...mmm then we went down to the Farmingdale stadium theatre and saw X2. I liked it.

Today was a 32 gig. Fun show, nothing out of the ordinary.....well, actually, kind of an apathetic crowd, which was lame... but there will be more shows

I can't wait for the sweet sauce to start playing shows again. as soon as finals are over im gonna try and do something about that.
