Here again

Ah, just sitting around at home, so I figure I'll share some of my thoughts with the world. Work was pretty boring again tonight. It was still cold. Not quite as cold as last night, but windier. And it sucked because last night I had a pair of knit gloves to wear and a yo-yo to entertain myself. This time, I lost the gloves and forgot the yo-yo... but there was more than just 2 of us, so at least there was usually someone to "shoot the shit" with. It's cool that I've got Friday and Saturday off, cuz I was just getting tired. My little brother is already started to pack up for when he flies back to school in Missouri on Saturday. I'll guess I'll miss the little guy (he is nearly 2 inches taller than me). It's been nice having him around through Christmas and all that. I told him that I would go to breakfast with him tomorrow morning. He likes to go to Perkins really early in the morning and get breakfast. I went with him a few times when I could drag myself out of bed. 7:30 is early to be out of the house. Early to be awake. Time to be sleeping.

What else can I mention?? I ate tacos at work today? That was the highlight of the afternoon, I suppose (the food at work is generally very bad. Tacos meant today was an exception). Got home and ate some chili that my mom made. It was good, but too many beans. I just can't abide such a gross overabundance of them. Once again, if you have come looking for intellectual enlightenment, this is not the place tonight. Sorry. Unless of course, you think that a discussion over whether or not the maximum acceptable bean level in my mom's chili was exceeded or not is particularly insightful... I do not.

I didn't get out to the gym today. I was too tired, I guess, but I'll head down tomorrow. Maybe in the morning after I pick up my paycheck... I don't think that it would be too busy, since if I go after eight or nine, most people will be at work. I gets really busy sometimes, and that annoys my friends and me. I can't stand having to stand around and wait for some doofus to get up off a machine he's not even using at the time cuz he is resting between sets... It isn't good gym-etiquette. That, and people who don't put weights away when they're done, let alone put them in the right spot. I also hate it when I can't find some stupid free weight I'm lookin for, cuz it is too busy and they're all being used. That happened to me for the first time a few weeks ago and I just froze, dumbfounded by a situation I'd never thought about before. Then I found some guy who had a whole bunch of 'em, and when I asked to borrow some for about 45 seconds that were just sitting on the floor, the guy said, "I'm using them." Stupid-horse (kenny, that was for you, haha). And that's all you get for now. Maybe expect some amusing anecdotes next time.
