My Weekend
Friday night I went out to see Waiting with Bacon. That movie is HILARIOUS!! I was cracking up the whole time! Ryan Reynolds and Dane Cook, together at last! "WELCOME TO THUNDERDOME, BITCHES!!!" O. M. G. Hahaha. Then we got dessert at BlueFin. MmmmMmmm. Good stuff. Finally, I went home and cleaned my room/bathroom/downstairs before going to bed. Oh, I still need to see Serenity. And Lord of War. And Wallace & Gromit. Dang.
Saturday I went climbing all by my lonesome and met some guy named Juan and climbed with him for a while. Then I went to IQ Fresh for yumminess and then went home to get ready for the party. So, Katie and I co-hosted this party at her apartment. The ironic thing that happened was that every. single. person who I invited that I thought for sure was gonna show up, bailed on me. Meanwhile the people who I was not counting on being there, showed up. It was way sweet getting to see ther ever-sexy Miss Ashley, and I was happy to see my new friend, Caleb there with the girls he brought. Plus, most of Katie's friends showed up, and they are some of the coolest peeps I know. Anyway, I made my delicious Radioactive Mai Tai's and some Strawberry Margarita's (along with some other stuff I was just making up as I went), and we played some games. From Taboo to King's Cup to Thumper to Screw the Dealer to Truth or Dare, we had a blast. Until I had to do 3 shots of really bad whiskey. Eww. Whiskey = gross. $5 Whiskey = REALLY gross. But I made it through okay. And felt really good the next morning.
One of my housemates, Chris, was supposed to come to the party but bailed on me for no real good reason. He was supposed to go climb at Mt. Lemmon Sunday morning with Ward, but then Ward got sick early early that morning. See what happened? Chris stood me up, and God smote him through Ward. So Chris knows not to bail on me anymore...especially since one of the really hot girls at the party called his phone and left him the sexiest message I've ever heard! It was good times. Sunday I had Lectio (which was not on topic at all but lots of fun), and then Lifeteen. LT was cool cuz it was a social night that was just a buncha games and hanging out.
Retreat meeting tonight. Halo after climbing tomorrow. W00T. Exciting.
