Accomplishment!
So, I just beat Pokemon Blue, at 3:19 AM. Playtime of 44:34, though it's likely less considering I was speeding through it most of the time.
This is a monumental achievement for me, honestly, because I never beat Pokemon Blue without cheating, back in the day, namely by Missingno. However, this time, I blazed through the entire game with no difficulty, and without cheating at all, unless you count using the Turbo button to make the playtime longer in-game but shorter actually.
My final team in order of acquisition was as follows:
Charizard, Level 57
Slash
Fire Blast
Flamethrower
Body Slam
Raichu, Level 56
Thundershock
Flash
Thunderbolt
Swift
Nidoking, Level 55
Strength
Submission
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Victreebel, Level 56

Almost on the team was the Level 30 Aerodactyl you get from Old Amber. I only used it to Fly one time to Saffron to get the TM for Earthquake. Other than that, I did not sidetrack or anything, I went in a linear path from A to B to C and so on. I would go and get Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo in Blue, but I really don't FEEL like it, what with the fact that it can't trade or anything.
And what's next? Either getting my copy of Ruby or getting an Emulator for it so I can do a Nuzlocke Run. And jeez, I just can't wait... x3
