Fun weekend was funnnn~
I think the most gratifying thing for me, though, strangely, is the amount of comics I acquired this weekend and finally got to read. I've been feeling really shitty for not reading comics in a while and I'm insanely behind on so many titles that I've actually wanted to read, but I got to power through some this weekend. I think I was mostly distracted by Homosuck haha. Homestuck really did devour a lot of my life and while I still like it and will continue following it, I'm glad my fire for it has died down a bit. The gathering at SakuraCon ended up being incredibly huge and a bit eye-opening. While it was nice being able to meet the faces behind a bunch of online names, I think I'd like to slowly eke my way out of the fandom for a while and just enjoy it in private. I've realized that the fandom's a bit raucous for my tastes, hahaha.
Plus the recent updates are a hugely resounding MEHHHHH for me. I don't care about the Trolls that much and I care even less about the Ancestors and at the bottom of both barrels are Vriska and Terezi, honestly, so all this stuff with their ancestors' conflicts and whatever doesn't really interest me in the slightest. I'm just reading through them because they'll probably be important later but whatever.
I finally got around to seeing Mad Men! Yeeeee~ I don't want to come off as doting or whatever, but it's thanks fo my boyfraaaand~ He has season 1 of Mad Men and is hellbent on turning me as gay for Don Draper/Jon Hamm as he is (he's also super gay for Dwayne the Rock Johnson, as I learned today) so he made me watch and even if it's slow, once you get started on a tv series, you just want to keep going. He also has a shitload of comics that I've wanted to read and lent me them so yeahh~
We also saw Fast Five today. It was really fun but the bf was jizzing the entire time holy shit. He even told me he thought it was neat when a bead of sweat dripped down Dwayne The Rock Johnson's beard. HOW GAY IS THAT. But it was really really really cute watching him spazz out so hard over it. I'm pretty sure I'm dating a 12 year old boy at heart but that's ok and slightly gay because I'm kind of a 12 year old boy at heart too sometimes. So that's nice.

Oh yeah and my sweet new headphones should come in soon. YESSSSSSS Please god let these pairs last me longer than half a year geez.
