(no subject)
man i love my friends...i mean really. after we went and watched the guys play their intermural dodgemball, we speant an entire night playing games on saturday night. i mean steph and i had to talk about some stuff, but really everyone just played games and steph and i joined them after being ambushed and talked into it.
we played "sex on the couch" which was clairified as "gender on the couch" after jokes started getting crass (but funny). there were 17 of us...all ages...how often does that happen ANYWHERE? man i love this place.
saturday morning we all had to work at the 3 on 3 basketball tournament for bsu downtown. it was so windy! i ruined some awesome paintings on some kids faces by forgetting to plaster their hair out of the way before it was dry... steve and katie swore the black didnt come off so well... oops.
well oh well. we were all beat after that and slept and watched all 3 harry potter movies while we did so...nerds? nope. not in the least! that night we ate some awesome food at barrbaritos and inoko, finished harry potter, and i went on to sleep.
sunday went to redeemer then got matts dog then to 5 and 10 for lunch which was pretty good. after that we watched the bsu kids murder their opponents in intermural softball, then just chilled and napped with the puppy by the lake near the intermural fields. it was sooo nice out! dad took me to dinner, and we had a surprise party for becky, and then had a fire up at the club. i wish i had picture i'll have to get some from stephen, but man we all had some good laughs! i love fires at the club. without them, i wouldnt have gotten to know everyone as well first semester, and man where would i be today without these wonderful friends!
monday night we went to dinner and jason maraz. i wasnt a HUGE HUGE fan of him before i went, but man am i now! that guy is just incredible! i mean i've never seen one guy put on a better show! and the stuff he can do with his voice...blows my mind. overall it was a great show and a great night, with a group of wonderful people!
today after lunch we went to the river, and man i've fallen in love anew with adventure and messing around outside.
i really hope we do keep things up and do it every tuesday and thursday.
we all just took our books/bibles and did quiet times out on a huge rushing river.
recently ive needed motivation to do my quiet times, and man was a river the ticket to that!
