I'm an alumni

Can't believe how fast college went by. The past 3 years more so than the first two. Saturday was the finale to my college career, at least for now. Driving out of town was strange. Knowing I wasn't going to be coming back in the fall was a hard thought to swallow. It's bitter sweet. On the one hand, I needed to get away from stuff up there. I also didn't want to leave loose ends but I can't do much about that. On the other hand, I love it up in Oswego and never wanted to leave. I could do without classes and stuff, but the atmosphere was the best. I have never been anywhere where the people are all my age and it is so diverse. I've only been gone for 2 days and I miss it already. I miss the people, the area. I miss being a kid. Now I am left to get a job and to start a new life, a life without school to look forward to in August. I just finished unpacking and moving back into my house and I am probably moving again in a few weeks to the Albany area because I have a job opportunity up there. It's a weird feeling that I don't have school to fall back on. A weird feeling that I am now independant and ready for the real world. But with a job comes money and being able to have things that I couldn't afford at school so I hope it all evens out. Friends from school will keep in touch and maybe loose ends will be binded. Now its time to be an adult and to start a new chapter in my life.

Congratulations to everyone who graduated!!
