Post Christmas
Ok, so Christmas was really good here. I thought it was going to suck. You know first Christmas away, and in Florida of all places. But it was cold and rainy so it looked like Lebanon. It helped, believe me. We opened presents and I really like all that I got. It was good to spend some holiday time with Jen, even if it was for a few hours.
Went to work and sat around for like 6 hours because the parade was canceled all day due to rain. Sweet. I have to say that being there with friends was fun and made the holiday that much better than it would have been.
Now we are just ready to get on with life outside of the holidays. After New Year's everything will calm down and I will get to live normally again.
Sorry so short, but I am tired and need sleep before another round of 13 hour shift and 4 parades.
Side note: I would really like to see some of you friends down here some time. Jen and I have hella free tickets and a place to crash, so coming down would be a marginally cheep vacation. Anyone and everyone is invited, please. We really want to have friends again.
