Lastnight's dinner: Vegetarian fried rice with peas, carrots, mushrooms, onion, garlic, chopped brussels sprouts, and eggs. I loved it. XY really enjoyed it too, but he is weird sometimes, so he added a lot of it to his gravy he had with his salisbury steak. He said it was good but I'll have to take his word for it, because it doesn't sound very appealing to me. Plus I've been eating vegetarian and vegan meals only for awhile now. The only meat I was eating was in my last batch of make-ahead breakfast sandwiches that each had a half slice of turkey ham on them... but those are all gone now.

Breakfast today: I had some leftover plain cooked jasmine rice in the fridge. So it was rice for breakfast. Re-heated. Then added a wee bit of butter and cinnamon, and realized I was out of sugar... so I added some apricot preserves. Very tasty! But then I added a spoonful of peanut butter to it also. Even tastier!
