Such a lousy slacker...
I haven't posted since June?! What?!
I know... I'm worthless...
Just busy. What a lame excuse. Here's a synopsis:
-Wedding junk. Still need to make my invitations. I'll be contacting you for an address. The guest list is reallllllllly small so if you're not invited please don't be offended. I love you. :D Still need to get a florist and organize my hair situation. Then, it's all chicken but the gravy. I've booked my sister-in-law the wonderful over the top control freak to coordinate, because she's exactly what I need and she's just awesome.
-Home stuff. Berry's last day at Dell was last week. Yup. He got laid off. But now that I have a house boy he's been cleaning like whoa. Our back log of laundry is getting done and he's actually happy ALL the time now instead of some of the time. The new jobs he's looking at are actually really neat sounding so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It would be so rad if he found a new job before the end of the month. Keep your fingers crossed!
-Work bullshit. Actually, it's been really low lately. The first half of summer is always painfully slow at work... since all of my customers are not busy, neither am I. Since May though, I've gotten tendinitis in my left thumb (hence why very little posting) because of the situation with the moving me out of my office and to a desk which was too high for me to work at. Now I'm at a normal desk, but on Tuesday I did manage to give myself a mild concussion at work. I was picking something up and didn't know there was something right over my head, so when I stood up I got a nice, good whack to the dome. This resulted in Lauren coming to pick me up from work and Berry taking me to the hospital for a CAT Scan. Apparently, I have a human brain and it works. We were all shocked.

Well, BFS has been working on writing and prepping to record their new album so there haven't been any shows for me to go to. I haven't seen them bastards since March. WTF? On the upside, they are supposed to be recording in Austin, so that will make for easier stalking. ;)
Well, have no fear... I had some Army Of Freshmen methadone over the last month with their new album coming out and FOUR shows in Texas over two weeks at the beginning of July. It was good times.
We had a nice little 4th of July party which resulted in me purchasing a grill and Lauren bringing over a slip-n-slide... which resulted in me discovering that old people shouldn't slip-n-slide.
Last weekend was Brick Tamland Day 2 (See here for photos of Brick Tamland Day 1, aka "All We Need Is Some Ice Cream & A Hug Day", and here for the initial idea). It was good.
That's all I can really muster now... there is more stuff but it's family BS, therefore not exciting. I guess I'll post again in a month and a half. I'm gonna go make dinner. :D
Oh yeah, and go watch Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Now.
