1: Eat 20 home-cooked dinners in one month.

WHAT: Get in the habit of eating more home-cooked meals than take-out.

WHY: Home-cooked tends to be healthier and less expensive. And it gets more variety into my diet than what I can get by ordering from the same handful of delivery restaurants every day. At some point, Justin and I had been really, really good about shopping and cooking, but we fell out of the habit and have not picked it back up yet.

HOW: Go shopping. Seriously. Just do it once, go grocery shopping. Then cook. Then keep doing it. I suspect picking out recipes we'd like to try will also help.

STATUS: There have been a couple failed attempts, but nothing substantial. This is a big goal for 2013. I want to eat more home-cooked meals than take-out this year.
