Labeling!
So, talking with someone yummy the other night, we got to discussing gender and sexuality. There was a point or two about which we disagreed. So, I figured I'd ask you. Why not.
First, I've realized of late that it's been a damned long time that I had a good and serious crush on a girl who pinged to me as a girl through and through. Like, a decade or so. We're talking teens here. Sure, there've been a couple who've caught my interest in passing, but none who've garnered real infatuation. I tend to dig chicks who ping male. I tend to dig men who ping male, too, though the male genitalia can oft throw that off and stick me with girly little things. Seeing as I, despite my obvious feminine traits, including tits and moodiness and ZOMGFASHIONGAMES, ring spiritually male to myself, well... does this make me a gay man on some level?
No, no, that's not the question. The question is this: when defining one's sexuality, if one is so inclined to do so, how do the non-physical concepts of gender apply?
