Oxford Maths dept FTW. :) That bit helped me forgive you for writing 11. I am still in DENIAL. ;)

ummmm there is doctorwho and there is another place called Teaspoon and something or other I can never remember but if you google whofic it comes up first. All the other places I go are Tennant/Ten based for the most part. Is there an 11 comm yet?

done and done. <3 thank you! i'm entirely paranoid about new fandoms, you knew that
i'll be coming back around for Ten, of course, i love him too much to permanently ignore him (i'm still half in love with Nine) but i'm looking forward to Eleven. <3 but you know me, i love EVERYBODY. I haven't even started on the classic episodes yet. (is there a word for that? poly-Doctor-ous? something? that one kind of sucks, there's probably a better one.)
anyway yes! thank you! <3 glad you approve of the maths department! he totally stole it from there. or it looks like he did. all it's missing is the chalk stains. <3

Firstly, I did not know until I Googled it just now that the Master had once upon a time been called Koschei. (Silly, huge old fandom that I don't have time to get caught up on!) I want to shake the hand of the writer who put that in as it made me lol in nerdy delight.

Secondly, yay delicious fluffy crack! Left me grinning.

that's part of what was /terrifying/ about this - i was honestly working up to writing in this fandom for about the past two months, because it's huge, even if you focus on the new stuff, i want to get it right because i am a big obsessive compulsive nerd that way. (And I am extremely sure that you understand exactly what I mean about obsessive compulsive nerdery in any kind of work.)
yay! so glad you enjoyed the fluffy cracky goodness. i like to think of it as the written equivalent of someone's candy that they left in the car. delicious, but the texture is kind of wonky by the the time you get to it, and sometimes it gets all over the place while you're trying to eat. <3

Heh. I don't even write fic and I feel such an urge to scour the internet for every scrap of Who info I can lay my eyes upon so I feel more like a proper fan instead of a fraud, but I'm pretty sure my head would explode if I tried to process all that.

Your last sentence there has made me really, really crave a Reese's cup. *fistshake*

I haven't yet read beyond the setting. I just wanted you to know that as soon as I read the summary I was hoping hoping hoping that the duck ride you mentioned was the one I was thinking of. Sounds like I was right! XD

I'll give you a proper review when I'm done though.

Nice one. I giggled a lot. I'm glad Eleven was only in it briefly, as we don't know his characterisation really at all yet, but I'm okay with him being in it. (Still mostly in denial, but trying to be optimistic and excited for the new series.)

ee, thanks! i have not taken the infamous duck tour (although i've taken a similar one along the lake) but i live in Seattle and i've seen more than enough of those boats. i can not imagine Doctor or Master of any age wanting to sit still for something that long/loud/not!sexy/crowded/noisy/human/slow-path/not!Doctor-or-Master-historically-centered... I mean, it doesn't even fly. *laughs* glad you enjoyed it, despite the denial. <3 thank you!

I grew up in Seattle (New York for college now), and I've never Rid(d)e(n) the Ducks either. Just joked about doing it with a friend and amused myself by messing with the tourists on them while waiting in line for concerts at the Showbox. I can see the Doctor taking it, just to learn even more, but definitely not the Master.
