heard back from my rheumatologist. well, it's a good thing that i don't NEED my wheelchair to access the pool 100% of the time (as in, i don't need a lift to get in and out of the pool), because the pool therapy places here don't take wheelchair patients - it's a LIABILITY for them.
i am BEYOND words.
so he gave me two other numbers. i'm going to call them and see if their buildings are accessible at least (or if that's a fucking liability). one is a high-end aerobics class and i don't think i can keep up with it but the other does t'ai chi type things in the water. he thinks that would be better anyway.
