My boy (the bigger one) is awesome and smart. We sometimes have disagreements, but we always manage to work it out. Sure, although i'm not sure if it'll help. My problem is/was that I hate some kinds of routines but was never entirely sure why - you know the kind, the ones that are all 'we do x at y time for no real reason other than because we do x at y time'? He suggested I look at it more as 'okay, you're trying to ship a product (story z) and you need to put in 'core hours a through b' (core hours are a very microsoft concept: kind of 'the bare minimum hours you should be in the office on most days' sort of thing - at MS they're between 10 and 4) and between these hours you focus on your product'. but it's not that kind of pointless banal routine that I hate because there's no reason to it, it's a different mentality altogether.

And then we talked about the mistakes that people make doing internet businesses, how they quit their day job and don't have startup capital to work with, that sort of thing. The Boy always manages to surprise me somehow with this sort of stuff: he's been researching multilevel marketing/internet business in his spare time trying to figure out why it goes so badly.) <3
