I am reminded of the card-catalogs we used to have in public libraries -- the big wooden chests with all the long drawers that slid out so easily, and everything smelled like old paper cardstock and wood worn smooth ...

When I was married, I had a pair of tiger-oak card catalogs in an odd old size -- the drawers were something like 3.5 inches high by 7.375 wide, 2 ranks of 10 per catalog. They were about the height and width of four-frawer file cabinets. I miss them much more than I miss my ex-husband.

I get the urge to re-arrange them out of their nice, neat sequential order...

*laughs*

I need one of those for my CD collection. Right now it's in numbered cardboard boxes.

Will would love it too....
