everything's fixed again. although the tradition was thrown off a little bit, christmas continued as usual, and quite a christmas it was. my brother, hartley and ted (their cat) got here at like 4:15, and after a little bit of hi's and how-do-you-do's we got down to business, since that's all anyone wanted anyhow. i think everyone was happy with what they got, i think the presents that i pseudo-spontaneously picked out were acceptable, and i think that i was very happy with my gifts. i most noteably got $250 from my grandma (she outdoes herself every year), a $50 target card and a $50 walmart card from my parents, and $25 in chick-fil-a money as far as cash and their equivalents go. present-wise, i got everything i wanted and alot more. a portable gps navigation thinger so i can do road trips with style, aqua teen vol. 4, charlie and the chocolate factory, the stewie griffin movie, whack-a-mole (supposed to be a gag gift, but AWESOME) and handheld versions of centipede, frogger, and pinball. also some underwear and socks and whatnot, but practical things aren't what christmas is about! sorry to give you the rundown of what i got, but please feel free to return the favor either in the comments or in your respective journals.

also, my parents now know that i drink, which was nice to get off of my chest. also, it means i drink while i'm here now, freely. which is even nicer. i can't wait to get back to blacksburg still, and i'm still not sure why. i think the idea of 2 and a half weeks of absolutely NO worries and good times with friends is just taunting me. i guess i might have a job, but at least then i'll be making money in order to fund the good times.
