I've been reading Warhammer FRP 3rd Edition* lately and I'm really torn. On the one hand, I'm loving the approach to the game and how much more boardgame like the entire system feels. I found the missing adventure, so I now have a complete set. Awesome! Now to find time, interest, and people willing to actually play the game. Even setting aside a simple 4-hours each week is tough to do; being an adult isn't as easy as I thought it would be.

Damn! I snagged the last book I was missing yesterday but when I went to add it to the collection I found that the Free RPG Day adventure is missing. Where in the hell are you, adventure? Did you run off and start a campaign by yourself?

That Rogue Trader Quick Start arrived in the mail yesterday and it looks very nice. I hope to get a chance to look it over closely later today, but the first flip through shows that (at least in production quality) this is a head above the older Dark Heresy quick start booklet.

There’s only one way in which Green Ronin and Black Industries could have improved on The Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Companion: they could have used a different title.
