the only movie i have seen is batman begins. i was torn between falling asleep and getting my money's worth by forcing myself to watch it.
so i have an analogy that will maybe help your problem. if not, its still a cool analogy i think. so, there's the sea of galilee and its very lush and beautiful and its a wellspring of life. from there, the jordan river flows into the dead sea. now, the dead sea is very well... dead. there's so much salt that people are said to be able to walk on it. hardly anything can live in it. how is it that these two bodies of water sharing the same water are so different? well, the sea of galilee has water flowing in AND out of it. the dead sea only has stuff flowing into it, not out. if your faith is feeling dead and dry, maybe that's why. does that make sense?
the Lord has also been teaching me this summer that worship is not about the good feeling i get or the emotional high (i haven't really gotten it all summer), but simply about worshipping a God that is worthy of our worship.
