*smiles* Oh my, how lovely! Heh, I rather like Lyra, the spoiled little princess smitten with Arthur. I so got a huge laugh out of that right along with Merlin. *bg*

I also enjoyed how you portrayed Arthur and Merlin's friendship. Heh, they may poke and prod each other like children on a playground, but it's obvious to anyone with half a brain that they care very much for each other. I also think that Lyra's right, I think Arthur does know, but like so much with them, it will remain unspoken. Arthur will look after Merlin just as Merlin looks after him.

The shout out to The Poisoned Chalice was a great touch as well. I imagine that food tasting really is the one duty Arthur doesn't want Merlin doing -- too many bad memories.

Again, outstanding story! Definitely one for my memories! :)

Thank you! I always worry about OC's and how they are coming across, so I'm pleased that you liked Lyra. I rather like her as well.

I adore their friendship and I really enjoyed writing it. I also like to think that Arthur knows, but I kind of think that canon won't go there. That's what fic is for, I suppose. :)
