I like him... he's great, his voice actor is so over the top it's fantastic. I respect any undead who tells me "That's right. Don't take no shit from anybody's stuffed animal."
So. I am an overnight Stocking-boy at Target. I was happy to work with my friend Dan, the stacks are cool, the place is nice, and well... Dan is fired.
4 No-call/No-shows in a month will do that...
However, Steven, who is my immediate supervisor, after tonight said that I'm getting his hours. It would seem I showed capability with the job. Steven was glad for my help, we got through several rough stacks in under an hour.(something like 50 heavy boxes to load on each, and there were around... I'd say 6 stacks we loaded.)
So I'm getting 30 hours a week on the new schedule, if Steven has his talk with Josh. I'm anxious to know if that's true ^_^.
So I bike 3 miles to work fast an hour before work, read or write until it's time to clock in, then do so and work.
After standing around, lifting, and doing fun physical work, I get to go back home on a nice steady enduring 3 mile bike ride.
What does this mean? The trip there I build strength in my legs, the trip back I tone. ^_^ Ooooooh yeah!
7/hour for 30 hours a week for now, more later? I like that sort of thing.
So that's basically news from me for a while... I'm excited about work, hence the mood that Jen will understand, but few else will... (except people who know old Penny Arcade very well.)
Time to wander off and do other things, like maybe sleep!
