81: A Walk, after a good cry
This weekend went well. I saw 12 episodes of Buffy in two days. I'm now past Episode 4, season 2, from nothing. So it's a nice thing.
I've gotten a synopsis of most of it from various peoples. I like Xander, he has the best lines. Though Giles would be a close second, and since Spike's only been in one episode so far, though he is excellent, I haven't had enough of him yet to determine if he moves up the ladder of favorites. Oz is there somewhere too... hehe.
So Jenni and I spent the day together, I made a mistake in not noticing one of her signs, and didn't say something when I should have, so, we had some painful silence later in the evening, followed by a long talk (longer than it should've been I kept her out late again -_-... So, aside from that the talk revolved around issues, and ones we have. Seems like Jenni and I have a lot of those in common, self doubts mostly in my case do to next-to-no encouragement in youth, coupled with some loss issues.
We talked, and then smiled, and are closer than before, since we both opened up, me more so than her, but she's definitely opening up a lot.
Things are going well, I'm glad.
I talked and walked for about an hour with Pete, he took a break from work and we discussed metaphysics, and how the world is, how magic is potentially just a different way to pray, and how religions have common threads, I could go on, but I have class in 27 minutes... and I don't want to miss it or be late because I ranted too much. My hypothesis on metaphysics will be posted some time I'm sure.
Time to end this journal by saying I'm still happy, and still think I'm dreaming,
