...not mine. My son's. My 13.5 year old took a fellow 8th grader to see "Definitely, Maybe" this afternoon. He gave her a single red rose purchased from the grocery store. He said he had a nice time, and he asked her if she'd like to do it again some time and she said, "Yes." Sounds pretty positive.
It's cute seeing him go about it. It's cute hearing him answer the phone and suddenly get veeeerry pleasant. It brings up many questions. On the one hand, it's not a big surprise. On the other hand, I don't want him to go too fast. On the other other hand, the feminine influence can be quite civilizing on some young men. Oh, the world of possibilities.
