judgement day
tuesday morning at 8:30 am is the time that will decide the path that my life goes down. whether it is jail or extended probation, it will have a serious effect on the direction my life is headed. Jail time will affect job opportunities in the future, where as probation will still allow me to get the charge dismissed. I thank jennifer, candice, steve, and chance for writing the character witness letters to let the judge know that putting me in jail isnt really the best solution. I also thank my friends for getting my mind off this court date, it has been consuming my thoughts most of the time which is pretty depressing, but i can always rely on friends to help me cheer up. this sobriety thing is really affecting my sleep, its a lot harder to go to sleep without the help of alcohol. After you realize this, you realize that its probably a good idea you decided to go sober, because you never realize how bad your problem is until your in a sober state of mind. i dont want to sound pathetic, but the withdrawals are really bad sometimes. ive never really quit alcohol before, but i dont like being addicted to things, so thats why i feel its a must.
